Children’s Christmas Party and Mouse House
Our annual Children’s Christmas Party will be Saturday December 9th, 2023, from 2PM-4PM. Join us for a visit with Santa, crafts, food, hot chocolate, games, snowball fights, facepainting, a gingerbread contest, and more!
This year we are adding a “Gingerbread Contest” with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! The gingerbread entry must be done at home and brought complete to the church by 2pm for entry. Can be as big or little as you wish, but it must be made out of gingerbread and candies and must be placed on a piece of cardboard or something stable. Battery operated lights can also be used to add to your display.
We will also be collecting nonperishable food items for our “community blessing box”. Please bring a donation if you can to help keep this filled for those in need.
And last but not least, bring friends!! Invite your best friend (or all) to come along or a family in your community to join us for a fun-filled afternoon!!
We will have a Mouse House at our Children’s Christmas Party on December 9. The Mouse House is a secret shop for children to purchase gifts for family and friends. All items will be sold for $1 or $2. Children can bring their money, and volunteers will help them shop secretly from their parents and guardians.
We are beginning to collect items donated by the congregation. Items can be crafted or bought. For more information, please contact Judy Simmons.
