Classroom Activities

At FMP, we are more than just child care. Our safe, secure, and nurturing environment promotes active learning to build a foundation for successful lifelong learning. Our preschool journey begins with a developmentally-appropriate curriculum that perfectly balances structured learning and discovery activities for each developmental stage. We focus on developing the whole – academically, socially, spiritually, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.

Christian Curriculum

As a Christian preschool, we will provide opportunities for each child’s spiritual growth. Our goal is to instill and practice Godly character traits through building connections between Bible teachings and other social and academic areas of learning. We practice Christian living by:
• Daily chapel time to include a devotion and Christian music
• Special emphasis on Christian values and traditional manners
• Prayer before snack time and during special times of need

Making Connections

Our enthusiastic teachers genuinely care about our children and understand each child’s individual developmental needs and learning styles. They take the time to help each child discover and learn in his or her way. We strive to make every child feel comfortable and confident. Our classrooms are well-appointed with appropriate learning aids and stimulating toys.

We connect parents to their child’s classroom experiences by providing monthly newsletters and calendars. The newsletters summarize the child’s work, post our monthly unit/lesson plans, and offer suggestions for continuing the learning at home.
